There was a time when I believed strength meant pushing forward, proving myself, showing what I was capable of. I thought power had to be visible, loud, undeniable.
Over the years, that definition began to shift. I learned that real strength does not need to perform. It does not rush. It does not demand attention. It simply exists, steady and self assured.
The tiger in this piece is not hunting or roaring. She is resting. Fully aware of her power, yet completely at ease within it. There is a quiet confidence in her presence, a grounded stillness that feels almost sacred.
The marble like textures and golden veins surrounding her remind me of healed cracks. Of experiences that once felt heavy, but later became part of something stronger and more refined. The gold is not decoration. It is transformation. It is what remains after growth.
The Silent Guardian is about arriving at a place where you no longer fight to be seen or validated. It is about trusting your own strength, even in stillness. Perhaps especially in stillness.
